Mix together:
1 1/2 cup puffed cereal of your choice
1 1/2 cup rice or corn flake or thin type cereal ( I used crushed up rice crunch-ems!)
1/3 cup dried cranberries
1/3 cup unsweetened coconut flakes
In a sauce pan heat on very low:
2/3 cup chunky peanut butter (if your PB is runny you might need less and if its dry you might need more)
1/3 cup dark agave (you can also use maple syrup or rice or corn syrup but I recommend adding a tsp of vanilla if you use a light syrup.)
Mix well until it becomes smooth and starts to give off a roasted smell (about 10 min)
Add to dry ingredients and mix well, let cool for 2 minutes then add 1/3 cup of chocolate chips and stir (do not over blend or chips will start to melt)
Press into a 8 x 8 or 9 x 9 for thick bars and into a 9 x 13 for smaller bars... you can really put this in any pan!
Let cool in refrigerator for at least 1 hr...I have also speed cooled them in a freezer for 20 - 30 minutes.
Cut into desired size bars and keep refrigerated.

Re: Peanut Butter Crunch Bars (NO-BAKE!!)
Tue, January 29, 2008 - 5:03 PMThis works with any nut butter really and fruit mix ins, you can sub the puffed cereal for a granola.
Or use tahini instead, with cashews and almonds, no fruit or a less sweet fruit. -
